These are a selection of Pictures that I've taken in 2010 on my Holidays Touring around the UK using my Praktika Digital Camera.
County Wicklow, Ireland
The Irish name, Bearnas na Diallaite, means 'Gap of the Saddle' (saddle in the topographical sense of 'mountain pass'). In English, Saddle Gap became corrupted to Sally Gap, hence the name.
Stictly speaking, Sally Gap is the name of the high crossroads a couple of miles north east of the Boleyhorrigan Bridge above Lough Tay (Loch Té) where these photos were taken, but it is all part of the same pass.
